Blanket wrap also called pad wrap means thick moving blankets applied directly to the piece and secured, rather than boxing it. It eliminates carton abrasion, protects finished edges and upholstery, and lets our drivers inspect the item at every touch. It’s the standard method for high-value and unboxed furniture, and it’s been our core service since day one.
2. Air-ride suspension trailers
Every furniture load moves on air-ride equipment. Air suspension absorbs road shock that leaf springs transmit straight into the load the difference between a veneer that arrives intact and one that arrives with a hairline split. Trailers are decked and strapped so pieces don’t shift on California’s grades and expansion joints.
3. Fewer touches
